Headed down to Nanaimo today to grab Anne’s boat Snoopy! out of storage. After some TLC from Anne, Snoopy will be back out on the ocean around Campbell River giving her a platform for more amazing wildlife shots. http://annemckinnell.com/category/animals/View
Howdy Ray! I love ours, we have the same 450P-RV. I like it because of the Duty Cycle: (100% @ 100 PSI) The 400P-RV was only ( 33% @ 100 PSI) Duty Cycle.
I use it also to power my brad & staple nailer gun. To make up for not having a tank I just hook up more hoses for the air volume. This is the reason I went with the 450P-RV with the 100% duty cycle. It works real good for a tankless pump.
The only bad thing is the alligator clamps for battery connection are kinda week & junky. I just replaced with better ones. Also made quick disconnects to hook up to our main battery bank in the 5er or pick-up.
We set-up Kim & Jessie’s old 5th wheel the same way.
Hope this helps you out…………………………….
Hi Ray, I have had the 400P-RV model for about two years now. I like it a lot. No problems with it. I think it would be easier to have a short air chuck for when you don’t need to reach back thru the dual tires. I don’t use the pressure gauge that came with it to often. I use a heavy duty gauge I used to use when I was trucking.
Dude! My viaire needs a new home. I think one of the abandoned battery holders should do
Good thing you made that pigtail or I wouldn’t have anywhere to get power to it.
FYI… I got the smaller one which heats up quicker so not good for extended run time.
