  • Great Video Ray,Glad you had such a good winter!

  • Well We left Michigan on Memorial day and so far have travel through Michigan’s Upper Peninsula into Wisconsin, North Dakoda, and are presently in Columbia Falls, Montana. Have seen many interesting places along the way including Fisherman catching walleye in little bay de noc , Lienkougal Brewry in Chippewa Falls Wisconsin,Theodore Roosevelt…[Read more]

  • Pam and Anna,
I really like your modifications especially the tile in the kitchen. Is that a stick on tile self adhesive or do you have to apply the glue ?
By the way, I spent 1 month in Zephyr Hills 2 and 3 years ago off of Chancy Road.
    Take Care

  • Wow! Beautiful Ray, I really appreciate the links. My wife and I are really excited. We are meeting My Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law at Canon Beach and then working our way down to California. We are Staying in Seattle at a Campground called Lake Pleasant north of Seattle about 20 miles before we head to Alaska for 11 days. Going to be putting…[Read more]

  • Oh that sounds great Ray, I am a big cheese lover. I am making a list of the things to see and do and what a great place to find the information from people who have been there. Gotta Love “Love Your Rv” forums. Sometime back I remember watching one of your YouTube videos I think about Canon Beach and that is what lead Me to book there. I called…[Read more]

  • I have heard the K40 is a real good antenna and will look into getting one. Yes there have been a few times that I was stopped in traffic and wished I had a CB to find out what was going on ahead of me so I might take the next exit if it looked bad ahead.

  • Ray I know this is an old post but I am looking at getting this Midland 75-822 40 channel hand held cb that you mentioned. I have heard that hand held cb’s don’t have much distance in a vehicle but this one can be hooked up to a antenna that mounts on top of my trucks roof and has the same output (4 watts) that a normal size cb has.I like the…[Read more]

  • Thanks Dan,
I have found a Park in Everett about 30 minutes north of Seattle its called Lakeside RV. Have you heard of the park.

  • I am taking a Cruise to Alaska leaving June 10 from Vancouver and am looking for a campground that I can stay at a couple days before we leave and then leaving the 5’ver there for 11 days until we get back. There is a shuttle bus that will pick us up in Settle so I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of a campground somewhere between…[Read more]

  • Yes Ray you are right about the sound. One thing I don’t like is music (usually the type I do not like) playing in the background or a video that has only captions or words describing the process or subject. I usually just go to another video that is easy on my brain. I like those wireless mics you talk about but I will have to get a lot of video…[Read more]

  • “Ray’s video’s are good because he tells a story, has a good sense of humor and doesn’t take himself to seriously.”

Yes he does and that is what really makes a difference and makes a video fun and interesting to watch. I have already made improvements to my trailer from watching Ray’s video’s.
Great tips Roger Sue and Ray. I have already learn…[Read more]

  • My wife and I went to our Daughters for Christmas and My Grand daughter was showing me the videos she took and she used Windows movie maker. I did not know I even had that on my computer. So now I have it and will practice transferring the video I took at their house onto my computer and see what all I can do with it. I would like to get close to…[Read more]

  • I am thinking how fun it would be to take Videos of our adventures and upload them to sites such as YouTube or some other site. Problem is I do not know what format is good for using on my Canon vixia or how to load to my computer or how to edit and do voice overs and upload. This seems like a lot of tech savy operations and I think would make…[Read more]

I have  a Garmin 760LMT  and you can enter the co-ordinates on it.

  • That looked great Ray, I did go to an electrical supply store and told the sales guy what I was doing. They did not have the type you used but they did have what they called SealTite which is a heavy walled PVC flexible tubing that is used to run wires in for outside or areas where the wires need to stay dry and protected. So what he recommended…[Read more]

  • Hi All,

Hope everyone is enjoying the first days of Fall.

I am installing a Electric Fireplace in an Cougar 319 Sab and am at the point of the wiring. I would like to run a separate circuit for this as in the past when I used a portable electric heater along with the coffee maker neither one worked quit right. I would like to run the new wire…[Read more]

  • This past weekend I cleaned my roof with Dicor cleaner and the next day applied the Dicor protectant. I only do this once a year but at camping world they say to do it twice a year. I have bubbles on my roof, several of them matter of fact and they have been there since new. They are about the size of a softball and I don’t think they will cause…[Read more]

  • Dale replied to the topic I tow a fifth wheel in the forum Trailers 4 years, 7 months ago

I have a 2008 F350 that I tow my Cougar  318 with but it is only 2 wheel drive and sits lower than a 4×4. I think it has much better center of gravity than a 4×4 and my wife does not need a ladder to climb in.  I live in Michigan but in all the years I owned 4×4 trucks I can count the number of times I actually needed 4 wheel drive would be on one hand.
