I used the clear Gorilla tape on my awning and so far it is holding well. But I only needed to repair one end about 2 inches by 3 inches. I keep checking it to see when I will need to replace the fabric but so far, even with the storms it has stayed put. Good video again Ray.

I remember watching a video on someone replacing their fabric on their power awning like yours also.

Congrats, I feel your pain as I am in a similar situation since I was made power of attorney for my mother in law after her son past away 2 years ago. We had to bring her home with us till I could get her finances straighten out but now she is in a Alzheimer unit.  But wife and I still take short trips with out fiver till we can break away.

But have fun in the mean time and before you know it the life of full timing may come your way.

Again, congrats on your purchase.  :yahoo:

Sorry to hear about the communication screw up but glad to hear that the fixes were simpler than thought.

Thanks Ray, Another great video. The HoKena emergency lights really looks like a great deal and a lot safer than the old flares.

I’ll put in a plug for Eddie & Aileen. Eddie travels the country installing the solar units for people and has a lot of knowledge on the subject. I have learned a lot about installation just from his videos that he is in. I am sure he would help you decide on what would be best for your needs if you ask.

I measured my batteries and then picked up a super heavy plastic storage box with lid from our local Menards (Big Box Home Improvement Store) then mounted it temporarily then marked where I needed to drill and mount a pipe for air to escape through the bottom and added another to the lid for connecting the air intake. Works like a charm and only had about $10.00 total. Just an idea.

It is a good if you take a picture of every connection before disassembly so you have a picture to reference when putting back together. at least that is what I do so it makes it faster to get back together.

Another business that has these washer dryer combos plus individual washers and dryers that can be stacked is https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/rv-appliances/washers-dryers/rv-washers-and-dryers. Calling is free to get questions answered if they can help you.  I have found them less on parts compared to other RV parts dealers. Me? I play the cost game so depends on price as well as delivery time. Most of the time Amazon is where I go but I have used pplmotorhomes other times.

Now I can’t remember but I did go and look at the Outdoors RV 5th wheels online and think I seen a couple that were about 38 feet in length. But can see why you really like them. Even I looked to see where I could go and see one for real. But Colorado is the closest to me here in Iowa. But if i was to purchase a new one I do believe I would travel the distance.  Stay safe and RV hard. LOL
