When we were looking for our 5th wheel we were looking at used units. At one lot my wife saw a NEW cougar and she really liked the floor plan but it was out of our budget. I got online and entered the model number (318sab) found it in Marion, mich. for 12 thousand less then where I live..
Just a thought 🙂
I have always used a ceramic tile from Home Depot 1 buck each…
Hey Ray, we were host at the visitor center here a few years ago.. Did you go across the road to the main visitor center? It has a great view of the whales..
Wishing i was heading south this year, maybe next year… Happy Trails
I use a jumper cable to check for bad grounds.. They are long and have great teeth to get a good contact..
MY son-in-law got the 12×12 pad antenna and put it on the wall behind his TV Seem to work well.. But he is in the Kansas City area so lots of over the air channels with strong signals..
I have used i_15 to go south from north idaho. I go east on I-90 to Butte and then turn south. It is usally OK once you get south of SLC.. Most Campgrounds south of SLC are open that time of year..I use the good sam app to find campgrounds, then call to make sure they are open..
I use the fresh water tank if it is going to drop below freezing over night that keep me from trying to roll up a frozen hose..
As a suggestion for things you plug in, use an extension cord from the 20 amp. I sneak one in through the slide seal and plug in an electric heater. I only have 30 amp in my cougar and this is how i get 2 heaters to run at the same time..
Our first rip south to Tucson was 4 years ago. We were volunteering in a state park and didn’t pack any winter clothes, BIG mistake.. Woke one morning to go to work and it was 19 degrees.. Yes i layered up but it was still cold… Now i bring one set of winter clothes every time we go south… Better safe than sorry.. Just my 2 cents worth..
I have used totally awesome cleaner… It left a white scum on my RV. Took lots of work to get it off.. But it took off all the bugs and black streaks really easy
I have a rope with the tape on it…
My alternative to Elephant feet….

Are you looking to keep heat in or out?
Pics as soon as i can get it out of the snow
Great video…… I really enjoy watching you do things to your cougar, especially because yours is very close to what mine looks like… BUT I am cheap, nobody gives me stuff to try… so i went to my local lumber yard and asked if they had any short pieces if Trex deck.
He game me 5 – 4ft pieces for free.. said they get these short samples all the time and to send as many friends as i could so he could get rid of them..
I cut them about 12 inches long and bolted them to the bottom of my jacks.. Just a suggestion
as an alternative….
