Amazon you have a selection of types.
If you can afford it go to a 2000 watt 100 amp charger Magnum.
We workamped in Crawford, Co. this past summer and that was a beautiful area. Sure enjoyed the Black Canyon, Kebler Pass, and the fresh cherries of the area. Seen where Joe Croker was buried too.January 8, 2018 at 6:18 am in reply to: RVLOCK Keyless Entry Door Handle Install and Review #49728
I remember when we visited the DDD’s at AZ. Eddie was installing a system and the owner Tom who unfortunately has passed bought the lock. We broke the instructions out and installed it. Funny how a little thing like a door lock brings back memories of Our lost friend. Sure wish you could have meet him Ray his was a true boondocker too. Be Safe.
Well in May we spend close to $2500 in Denver on it, then 5 months later we experience the problem again and this time completely replaced the fuel system and it was around $7500. She’s running good again now. The darn labor was about half the charge.
I’m jealous. If it wasn’t for the $10000 fuel system replacement we were looking at that model. Thanks for the video on it.
yea I got Eddie’s heat Gun and thawed mine. That was on that ole Cougar though.
We bought the regulator too after Ray spoke of his.
Well oh fat Baby came out of the shop for the third time and still broke down on me just three miles from the service center. We are now getting the complete fuel system replaced($7000). This is all caused by some bad diesel fuel. Can’t put our fingers on exactly but when fat baby went down in Denver back in April she had crystals in fuel filters. They believe somehow DEF(diesel emissions fluid) got in fuel. Maybe by next Friday we hope to have her back and we can be off to NC.October 11, 2017 at 7:19 am in reply to: RV Gas Stove Mod – Upgraded the Mechanical Igniter #48442
Nice Ray, I see those long sleeves on.
You so right Stephen.
Well got our fingers crossed. Hope to here something on truck tomorrow. Over a month and we are still wrestling with our bad diesel problem. After setting down and talking with Ford in Detroit we have it close. Dealership has a lot of diesels being worked on and between them we get ours looked at. This is the third time and could be forth to come.
Its a shame the way the world is headed. Younger generation has no pride in there work.
Its the computer term to reduced power. Kim if its possible I’ve tried it. crawled up under her and removed then replace filter. Its just sucking air from somewhere. Fuel tank had water in it. Now its all clean fuel, I’ve drain enough off to know there’s no more water.
