We hardly ever use our stove just out hot plate. well worth the money.
I take it this trip will be June 2018? How long do you plan on being in BC ? Are you only want to stay on the ‘lower mainland or travel up into the interior? How about going to Vancouver Island and do some fishing? PM me with more details and I will send you ideas.
PS I am not a travel agent just someone who loves her province.
Would love to join you but sadly not this year.
Darn we have a cupboard over ours so can’t use your great idea.October 17, 2016 at 7:37 pm in reply to: RV Kitchen Idea – How To Keep Stacked Cups From Falling Over #36896
Love your RV tips
Give Angel a comb for me
Great info, thanks Ray
We have a 12vt slow cooker made by roadPro that I got from Amazon. We have used it twice this trip. we love but it is small. Works great for two people. Besides the smell of supper cooking is a nice homey feeling
You said you were thinking about taking the eastern route thru Jasper Ca I think you mean Jasper Alberta. The ‘Ice fields Parkway’ Hwy (Ab Hwy 93) is worthwhile. Take a ride up onto the ice fields where Superman was filmed.
If you do take Hwy 37 (and I use the term Hwy loosely) you must go into Steward BC/Hyder Alaska to get Hyderized.
We are planning Alaska trip May 2017. What route(s) are you planning on taking thru BC? We are not a fan of the Cassie Hwy. Lots of very high summits to climb. How many are you planning on spending going threw BC? Which ever route you take make sure to grocery shop in Prince George. Food is expensive the further north you go. We live in BC and travel from Vancouver Island to Terrace a couple times a year, always taking a different route up and back.
Just watched a documentary on Dawson City, Yukon past and present. Sounds like a must see along with the “Top of the World’ Rd which goes from Dawson City YK over to Chicken, Alaska and on to Tok.
Good questions for Steve and Diane Colibaba as they have done the trip.
Diane did get into Juneau? A friend told me about her trip Skagway via ferry to Juneau. In her mind it was a must do, your thoughts please
Check out “White Pass & Yukon Railway’ website. Sounds like a must do.
