ParticipantHowdy Chris!
Yep, sounds like your converter/battery charger is on it’s way out.
I replace a ton of the “Junker” WFCO converters in my solar installs.
Happy Trails!!!
Here is a link to a good replacement unit…….

ParticipantThanks Ray! They need to get rid of the BLM roads and stay with the “Historical” roads. As I remember, the BLM ones are bad and messed with the washes. The “Old roads ran down the crown of land, not in and out of the washes messing with natural water drainage.
Thanks again for the info.
Happy Trails…Pal!!!

ParticipantI must be one of those Americans over doing it, we run 1500-watts on our roof with two 65-amp MorningStar/TriStar PWM solar charge controllers. 10-years strait fulltiming (16-total), and 7-years “Off-Grid RVing”and loving it. With more solar power & power storage you can live off grid longer with less visits to town for gas. We where only in a camp ground 3-days this year, and only 2-days last year. If you are truly wanting to go “Off The Grid RVing” your solar and water systems need to be set-up to fit your needs.
Good Luck!

ParticipantYou are going to love those T-105 RE’s! We have been running ours for
3 years now. We went 3 months before I could top the water off because of the weather, dust and the wind down here in the South West. When I finally got a chance
to PM the battery banks I only needed 3/4 gallon of distilled water for (8)-batteries.
Best battery “Bang for the buck”!

ParticipantRay is correct, thay have helped keeping the moisture out of our roof space. We have been testing again here in eastern North Carolina with all this stinking cold & snowy weather that came in from up north.
Ray we need to get on the “Dusty Trail” and get the heck out of here!!!!
Happy Trails!!!

ParticipantNice job Ray!
