Just curious: why a shortbox?
Would it be possible to mount your toolbox to the rear of the trailer?August 18, 2016 at 1:28 pm in reply to: Progressive Industries Surge Protectors and Honda Generators #32928
Good to know! thanks for sharing.
Of course mine is a 50a portable so I don’t use with the gennies cus they are just 30a. Loosing lots of power with the adapters.
But have been thinking of getting permanently installed SP and also relocating the inlet plug to the side of the camper somewhere.
On a more positive note, NOT using the gennies or the cord at all is the ultimate!
I have an unlimited Verizon mifi AND a Sprint mifi. There’s been a few times that the sprint came in a bit stronger. But the overall coverage isn’t there.
Haha… I’ve heard someone refer to my kayak as a custom air-dam.
Do you have solar panels up on your camper?
If your kayaks are a long as you say, then they may cause shading.
Anyway, eTrailer has this you could use:

I hear you! My boat is 13’1″.
Ever seen this kind of setup?
I wish you luck.
Oh dear! How heavy are they?
I carry mine on my truck which makes it easier to get out there. (See any of my truck pics)
But…. The previous owner if my 5ver had 4 long eye bolts installed, for who knows what, at the rear that go clear through the roof with washers and nuts, sealed with sealant.
Here is how Eddie installed mine in the front bay. He ran the wires along the floor joists into the cabin. Very clean. I don’t know if there is an access point in yours.
Some newer rvs are equipped for things like this.
Could get a composting toilet and when you fill er up, dispose the full bag in a dumpster. Kinda like babies diapers and puppies poop bags. and its legal. Properly composted that is.
They already have the Blueboy.
Besides, those kinda toilets are way too expensive for the average RV’er.
Why not just use a litter box? Just kidding :Big-Grin:
Stop! I’m dying over here! 😂
Good points I might add.
