Not specifically a Canuk issue. Anyone who lives in the snowy north and heads south – when do you leave? We are waiting until the last week of October. Historically we don’t get really cold or have snow until mid-November here. I’m concerned this year as it is mid-October and we have already been close to freezing overnight. I did the anti freeze treatment of the water systems just in case. This means I will need to flush the system when we get further south or can I flush the system just before I leave? Anyone have experience with this?
We usually try to leave in the last half of October to early November. That’s when the weather here starts to get colder and the coastal rain storms start to roll in. Gets wet and colder. This way we can stay down in the US later into the spring. I like spring in the desert as all the wild flowers begin to bloom, very pretty to see.
