its a thanksgiving miracle….its working…the issues was a mix between freshwater tank almost empty, air in lines and me having no patience.

this morning we ran out of freshwater and even the gauge still showed 1/3…I wondered if the issue with the pump was related… ?

today  we filled up the fresh water tank and purged every line again.. moving from shower forward in RV… we let it run ALOT and then some.. and  even after 30 sec of good steady flow there were still some “burbs”…I “wasted” alot of water purging the lines but  I guess thats what it takes..plus we have sewer where we stay so it not really an issue.

Thanks to everyone that helped with suggestions.

    Lessons learned..

    1. ask Ray
    2. patience is a virtue
    3. make sure your freshwater tank is FULL

I’m having the same problem after pumping another 10 gallons into my freshwater tank while boondocking in the desert. It’s still not working after running water and wasting 5 gallons. So for now I’m just turning on the pump to use water, then turning it off.  The water coming out of the faucet burps once in awhile, but at least it works.

I’m glad your problem turned out positive, I hope mine does too.

I think the most AIT war trapped in the hot water and I had to waste a lot of water too.. late ron I thought I could have collected the water and put it back in the fresh water tank but by that time the issue was resolved.. I was really surprised how long it took to get all the air purged.

    Good luck.. and safe travels

An idea to easily purge the line when boondocking but save the water is maybe use the outside shower and run the hose back into the fresh tank.
