KeymasterIn this video, I unbox my brand new See Level II Model 709-4PH RV tank monitor.
I show you the box contents and explain a little bit about each enclosed item.
4 – stick on monitor strip circuit boards
1- instruction manual
1- wiring harness
1- control/display monitorThe model 709-4PH is able to monitor 4 tanks – 2 gray, 1 black and 1 fresh plus the rig’s battery voltage. It also has built-in switches for the fresh water pump and the water heaters LP gas operation.
I’ll soon be installing the system into my 2011 Keystone Cougar fifth wheel trailer, so stay tuned for that.
*Note – I’m not affiliated with Garnet Instruments in any way and I paid full price for the product. $280 CAD plus tax and shipping for a total price of $316 CAD. (currently, equals about $240 USD)

ParticipantLooks like a great Mod, Can’t wait to see the install. Anything is better than the factory system.

ParticipantHowdy Ray! We installed one of Sealevel II gauges for Rose & Phillip from here on RVHH last spring down in Flagstaff, Az. I think they are still down in “Old Mexico”. The one we installed did not have the water pump and water heater switch. Cool “Mod”, I want to get this same one you have for our fiver as soon as we can get one. Is this the same company/product we saw in the “Big Tent” at Quartzsite ,AZ. last winter? Have fun in the “Belly Of The Beast” installing the system!
Happy Trails…Pal!!!

Participantwatched the unpacking video yesterday… good job on it
price seems reasonable and we need an improvement on the factory one. Our “$h1tter” has been full since the first time we christened it.

KeymasterSo, I got the install 95% done. Made a bit of a goof up on the sensor strip selection. Doh!

In this video, I install the SeeLevel 709-4PH RV Tank Level Display system into my 2011 Keystone Cougar fifth wheel trailer.I show you how I wire the control/readout panel in place of the OEM tank monitor and wire the 4 sensor strips to my fresh water and waste tanks.
I also point out a mistake I made when I ordered the wrong sensor strips for my short tanks.
In a few weeks, I’ll be posting a full review video so stay tuned for that.

KeymasterSent Garnet Instruments a link to my install post. Guess they felt bad for me and my screw up ordering the wrong sensors. They are sending me out a set of the right ones. Nice! At least it will make my review more accurate.
They were impressed with the article and videos, their engineering guy said I did a good job with it. They seem like a friendly company to deal with. :good:
