Rick
ParticipantI thought it would be nice to have a place to show our respective Rigs off. This way we all get to see what’s available out there and being use and how you have modified your rig to your RV lilestyle. Like they say a picture is worth 1000 words.

KeymasterNice topic Rick.
Here is our rig in our current local on BLM land in Southern Nevada.
I also did a full review of it a while back after we had used it for 18 months. Here is the YouTube video.

ParticipantThanks Ray. We do this on the RC forums all the time, it’s a good way Exchange ideas.
I loved your video. What a good idea a video tour of your rig. I’m going to make one of ours as soon as the 4 feet of snow melts in the compound where we have it stored. That should be by June. lol

Excellent review of what to look for on your rig. Is there a special caulking for the roof?
March 17, 2014 at 7:52 pm #1703Ray
KeymasterYes the rubber roof on mine uses a special self leveling sealant. I usually carry a tube with me in case I spot any cracks or holes.

Participantvery nice Steve and Dianne. You bring all your toys with you, I love it!
March 25, 2014 at 6:48 am #1755Thanks Rick. As full timers I figured there had to be a way to take all the toys!

ParticipantIf you don’t mind me asking, ball park what kind of money would we be looking at for a truck like that? The wife and I are “full timers” that are still working full time to earn enought to get the rig we want to full time RV in. I’m thinking this mite be it!

InactiveHello,
Newbie here. I recently grabbed this 1971 17′ Wilderness tag-along. I will be leaving from Mass and heading across country and do some hiking in each state. I’m not sure how I’m going to set it up yet and I’m sure I’ll be shifting things around quiet a bit until I am comfortable with it all. I do have a leak around the air conditioner. Any helpful ideas? I suppose I should strip off all the old stuff first. What would you suggest I replace it with?
