Scenic Ajo Mountain Drive in Southern Arizona – Photos & Dash Cam Footage

In this video, I combine still images and dash cam video footage to give you look at the road conditions and incredible scenery found when traveling Ajo Mountain Loop Drive in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument.

We took this trip on mid-February afternoon after a desert rain. The rain wetted washed the cactus and rocks making the colors pop. The skies were filled with dramatic clouds casting shadows on the gorgeous Sonoran desert landscape. It was a perfect day for photography!
