In this video, I upgrade my Atwood Wedgewood Vision RV Gas Stove’s mechanical type sparker/igniter to an electric push-button model. Then I give you a demo and make myself a cup of tea.

I’m up much earlier than my wife and like to have a morning cup of tea. The mechanical sparker is so noisy it often wakes her. Not good for me! The upgraded electric igniter should solve that problem for us.

I found one called an Onlyfire 14451 Universal Electric Silver Push Button Igniter while browsing Amazon.

The new sparker unit fits in place nicely except I needed to modify the mounting hole expanding it. I used a 7/8th hole saw to do the job.

Thanks Ray, I need to add something like that to our stove as it doesn’t even have a mechanical lighter on the stove. I was wondering about this same thing. I will order one and add it to our stove and make life easier.   :rose:
