The resort is located approximately one hour from Victoria heading north and less than a half hour south of Nanaimo.
The sign at the entrance says “A Woodland Park Retreat” and it is definitely that with tons of greenery and trees. The first thing I noticed was the large clubhouse with a heated swimming pool next to it.
The campsite itself was fantastic with more than enough of space for our 30-foot trailer and large dually truck plus plenty left over. It was like being in a forest cave. We even had a little path back to a small deck perched above the babbling, Haslam Creek. Between campsites are some privacy plants, trees or shrubs making it more like a provincial park than a typical RV resort.

With amenities like the heated pool, hot tub, large clubhouse, playground, basketball court, fishing, hiking trails and even a small pitch and putt golf course it appears to be a very family friendly park.
We thoroughly enjoyed our brief time there and it will definitely be on the radar when choosing a Vancouver Island RV Park destination in the future. Thumbs up from Love Your RV!
