I’m driving by RV with my dog from Fredericksburg to Visalia, CA. This is a one-way trip and I’m looking for road trip partners to contribute towards gas. The AAA gas estimator puts total gas cost at $684.

I think this would be a great opportunity for someone who has been interested in buying an RV but hasn’t wanted to take the plunge into the deep end without trying the wading pool first. So this trip would introduce a newbiew to what its like traveling in an RV.

Me: I’m a woman traveling with her dog. I am an experienced traveler.

My RV: 31ft Class C. There are two other bed options, can sleep single or double depending on your preference for space. I will be the one driving the RV in towns but am okay with another person driving it on the highway. There is a bathroom with shower as well as a full kitchen. The kitchen has a stove and fridge, but both are small.

The Trip: I expect to take the southern route and I’m looking to make good time getting out to California. Plan on all day driving. I do; however, do want to make one or two sightseeing stops. Nothing decided on yet. My expected drive out date is Sept 23 – 27. I don’t have a firm date yet, things are up in the air.

Travel Buddies: I am looking for 1-4 other travelers to share in the gas cost. Since this is an RV there is space for your stuff. Also appreciate if you provide your own groceries if your going to be using the kitchen for cooking.

    Thanks!!
