ParticipantLuckily Eddie is here in the east so we grabbed him to do our install of solar on our new Vanleigh/ Vilano 325RL. He came up with a few other ideas to change our storage compartment wall and pick up a nice amount of extra storage space. It being our second solar install with Mobile Homesteading and one full year with the other system and no problems we knew right where we were going to get our new system done. Luckily he was coming this way. He is a artist at work. He knows his stuff, how truly we are blessed to have found him and his family. It just a joy to watch someone do what they love.

ParticipantGreat job by Eddie as usual. I tell everyone that has an interest about his work and I can recognize his work anywhere. Hope to do a meet-up sometime this winter.

ParticipantWe were at a RV Rally and we participated in a open house. I had some people want to see the solar system on the old Cougar. When I open the front compartment one gentleman says I seen that on the internet. He has a signature for sure(beautiful, neat, well setup ststems).

ParticipantHowdy Campers! Here is a video Rush & I made after we “re”-installed his original solar power system from the old RV into his new 5th wheel. We also added extra battery storage and 290-watts of new solar adding to his 580-watts panel array. (870-watts total)
I hope this video can help out to understand the importance of having a proper way to gauge the stored power in your battery bank.
If you need any help setting up a system and installation of your RV “Boondocking” solar power storage system just give us a call or e-mail us at ….. wyglonekseal@aol.comHappy Trails!!!

ParticipantHowdy Campers! This is a small video Rush and I did on how we connected his inverter to his new 5th wheel’s RV house 120-volt system. We go thru the Magnum remotes uses and how you can balance power loads. Also we cover some of the things we needed to add to his system to help the existing residential refrigerator inverter to work better for their “Fulltime” “Boondocking” life. If you need help setting-up and installing a solar power storage system for your RV you can give us a call or e-mail us at ……….

MemberThank you Eddie and Rush for these videos as well as Ray for his helpful series that got me started on this project. I’m getting ready to do a DC wiring backboard for our older fifth wheel. The rig is in WA and I’m in AK so I’m setting things up to test all the bits and pieces before installing it next Spring. I especially appreciate the anti-oxidant recommendation.
Do you prefer the hammer crimp tool for the 12V lugs over the hydraulic ones?
