Has this ever happened to you?? Our first trip out with RV and parked in Kindersley, Sk Walmart parking lot- with others. At about 1 am, teens I would presume were lighting fireworks and honking their horns. And then on our way back on another day, 1 am and then 2 am honking around the parking lot with 2 others in the lot with us. I told hubby lets go- I didn’t want to be awoken to that again in an hour.. and didn’t feel it was safe to be there. Opinion or 2 cents? :negative:

Opinion.. Young, stupid, full of hormones, probably bored, inconsiderate yes, dangerous no.

We lived in a small rural town for many years, kids used to do things like urinate on tents at the campsite, thought it was funny. No real harm done, just STUPID.

I agree with Roger, just kids being stupid. It is a WalMart parking lot after all. But everyone knows WalMart has security cameras all over so I would think most would limit their activities to just the obnoxious.

    Good luck next time.

I agree with Roger & George but still it is not a pleasant situation.  Unfortunately kids and fireworks are a bad mix so likely a good idea to leave.

I guess we will just avoid THAT town’s Walmart location next time we go through there. I did Facebook message the Town of Kindersley to tell them and see what they have to say about that. Just wanted to bring it to their attention.

We have stayed at about 20 Walmarts and only one time did we have an issue like you describe. It was in Wyoming and a bunch of local teens drove around like crazy in the parking lot at midnight in big loud trucks. I think they were just bored living out in a small rural town with not much to do. Hanging at Walmart parking lot was the best they could do. 🙂 In most Walmarts the security guard would have taken care of them.

We stayed. Our rig was parked well away from there path. They gave it up and went home in a hour or so. We were just stopping for some rest and had plans to take off after 4-5 hours rest.

Just so it doesn’t escalate to rv damage. But if you call cops it may work ,or it may backfire
