In this video, I show you a bit of the pretty Harris Beach State Park campground. The campsites are set in a pretty forest on a bluff overlooking a beautiful beachscape. Access to the beach is a few minutes walk or drive away.

Harris Beach State Park is located in Brookings on the Oregon Coast. We visited in mid-November on our way south for the winter. Full hookups for $32 a night.

I was impressed by the views and the number of beaches and trails to explore along this section of the coast. Many great nooks, crannies, and little coves to chill out at or take in the sunset.

The weather was nice with highs in the 60s and little wind. Not usually the case during the wet, stormy fall.

We’re currently here at Harris Beach and planning to spend Thanksgiving day riding out the storm pushing in with strong winds and rain. We’ve stayed here several times in the past and always enjoy the beauty of this coast line. We plan to continue our trip South tomorrow towards Arizona.
