So I am looking for some assistance. I am trying to compile a list of off the beaten path destinations that are not normally considered a large tourist destination. Such as historic sites, breweries, or factory tours that offer the opportunity for a good day trip. Would also like destinations that would make great multi day trips that would offer hiking loops. I am looking for recommendations from across the country and any info for cheap/free Rv parking options close by would be greatly appreciated. I will make this collection available just not how yet. Please feel free to share with friends and family for additional ideas.

Since you mentioned breweries here ya go.  The Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner Texas is a cool destination.  Shiner itself is a quaint little town with several antique stores including one that actually has a bar in it.  My wife enjoyed shopping as I imbibed in a Shiner beer.

Also just a mile or so away is Green-Dickson park which has RV sites that I believe are water/electric and possibly full hookup on a few, nice park, quiet and seldom did we see more than one other unit there.
