We have a 12vt  slow cooker made by roadPro that I got from Amazon. We have used it twice this trip. we love but it is small. Works great for two people.   Besides the smell of supper cooking  is a nice homey feeling

We use a rice cooker.  Light weight and works like a slow cooker too.

thanks for the tips.. I saw those ricecookers and liked the size and was wondering if they work the same way  a crockpot does..

Hi Andrea & Ralf, I have a Aroma rice cooker / Slow cooker / Food steamer.

Model # ARC-2000A. I have had it for over a year now and I love it. I use it for all kinds of cooking. Chile, stews, rice, etc. I have set it before I go out and when I come home dinner is ready. Hope this will help. James

Presto “Kitchen Kettle” from Walmart. All metal. Steam, boils, deep fries…BUT WAIT THERES MORE! It’s a slow cooker too. Comes with a basket for frying.  We’ve been using for about 5 years.  Only 120 volt thougb.
