In this video, I detail the installation of a 12 volt to 24 volt DC converter to take the place of my Winegard Connect Wifi boosters AC power supply.

The DC-DC converter allows me to use the wifi booster without the need for AC power. It will work off the RV battery bank instead. It will save energy compared to using an inverter.

I tap into a 12-volt circuit in behind the refrigerator, mount the DC-DC converter and install an on/off switch.
