We love trees! We’re in the flat, treeless area of Texas but when we moved to this part of Texas (from the beautiful hill country) 30 years ago, we started planting lots of trees so it’s not to bad around the house.

Today’s storm is really causing problems way down in snowbird territory !!! Stay safe and warm ,everyone!! -Nancy

Funny, we’re at 53 degrees north, and are in a warm spell, above freezing temps for the foreseeable forecast! Melting like crazy here!

Yeah, this storm was harder on the south! It’s going out to sea off Conn. and Mass. Maine didn’t even get hit this time! The past 5 years along the shore here in Conn has gotten much more snow then I ever remember getting! We’re expecting single digits again tonight BUT they are saying a warmer trend is coming for us.So I’m praying this was winters last stand!

17 for us tonight…thankfully the snow/rain is over and it’s supposed to be in the 80’s by next week!  Woohoo!

How awesome to have 80’s! We here in Connecticut will be out of our minds happy when the thermometer reaches 40’s next week!!!  Trust me, it will feel like 80’s to us! :yahoo:

HAHAHAH… yeah, it will!  It’s 43 right now and sun is shining and it feels GREAT!!

It is amazing how adaptable us humans are! – Nancy
