September 24, 2014 at 8:53 am #6318 NormaParticipant There MIGHT be 30 people where I am now. The view isn’t great, but the price is right. $250/mo with $150 electricity included. I bet there’s places like this all over that have better ambience than this one…FINDING them, however, might be the holdup… You should scout them out and write a book!!! I’d buy it! September 24, 2014 at 8:55 am #6319 NormaParticipant Now that I think about it…THIS is a site for campgrounds for sale. Lots of them are smaller, mom & pop type operations that might be what you’re looking for… September 24, 2014 at 9:01 am #6320 The FullowkasParticipant do you have a link to the site your staying at? September 24, 2014 at 9:03 am #6321 The FullowkasParticipant Sorry , I actually meant to say the age group of campers 40+ year olds not the amount of campers in a site-lol September 24, 2014 at 9:09 am #6322 NormaParticipant HAHAHAHAH…Oh….well. Hmmmm. I don’t have an answer for that. September 24, 2014 at 9:12 am #6323 The FullowkasParticipant yeah, do you think certain states or areas have a more concentrated amount of older campers over younger ones? September 24, 2014 at 9:18 am #6326 RayKeymaster 55 years seems to be the magic number. There are tons of campgrounds down south that are only for people 55+ September 24, 2014 at 9:23 am #6327 The FullowkasParticipant Sorry I’m not quite at the 55 yet and Gerry still has another year or two to go… September 24, 2014 at 9:35 am #6328 Eddie & AileenParticipant Hows grandma & grandpaw going to take the grandkids camping? September 24, 2014 at 10:01 am #6329 RayKeymaster
Hows grandma & grandpaw going to take the grandkids camping?
I would take them somewhere more fun than a place with just a bunch of 55+ folks. Can’t be much fun for little kids 😉 I think most of these places would allow guests for a few days. They tend to be retirement type communities. September 24, 2014 at 10:25 am #6330 Eddie & AileenParticipant Sounds like one of those places that only let RV/campers less than 10 years old in.
